Hot Dog Slaw

This weekend being the 4th of July we, my wonderful wife Danielle and my adorable son Caden went over to our neighbors house for a BBQ - Burgers and Dogs, truly an American outing, which I'm sure 90% (not an official stat) of all households where eating on this fourth.

I made a couple of dishes to take over to share with everyone.....One was my Oreo cake and the second was my favorite Hot Dog Slaw. It's great on dogs but also great on it's own. So easy to make and tasty to eat.

HOT DOG SLAW

1/8 c. oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seeds
1 tsp. salt
¼ c. shredded onion. I use dehydrated onions (use 2 tbsp)
1/2 c. mayo
1 head cabbage, chopped in a food processor
1 or 2 carrots, chopped in a food processor

Mix first 7 ingredients together. Beat until smooth. I actually put all ingredients in a Mason and shake the crap out of it.
Pour over cabbage and mix together.....let sit in fridge for at least 1/2 hour.

Try it and let me know what you think.....
